English Abstract: | This course explores the cutting-edge digital environments and technologies shaping the future of online interaction and commerce. It delves into the foundational concepts of the Metaverse, a collective virtual shared space created by the convergence of virtually enhanced physical reality, augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR) and the internet. It also covers Web3, the decentralized online ecosystem built on blockchain technology, emphasizing its implications for privacy, ownership and user control. The goal is to learn how these technologies are transforming social media marketing strategies, from leveraging VR and AR experiences to engaging with communities in decentralized platforms. The course includes practical assignments on analyzing Metaverse and Web3 potentials, exploring digital identity and brand presence as well as creating marketing campaigns in these new spaces. Through lectures, case studies and hands-on experiences, students will gain a comprehensive understanding of how to navigate and leverage the opportunities presented by Metaverse and Web3 for innovative marketing and management strategies in the evolving digital landscape. |
