Zweiter Workshop

Ziel des zweiten Workshops war es, eine ganzheitliche Betrachtung von Gamification im Life Science Kontext zu ermöglichen. Dafür wurde – aufbauend auf dem ersten Workshop – die User Experience (UX), d.h. die Nutzererfahrung, in den Mittelpunkt gerückt.

In einem eintägigen Simulations-Workshop werden wir gemeinsam ihre Gamification Konzepte in regulierten Arbeitswelten entwickeln. Vision trifft auf Wirklichkeit: Realitätsnah mit Argumentationshilfen gegenüber den Entscheidern.

Beschreibung:
    Innovative multimedia storytelling with the use of mobile and emerging technologies.
      In collaboration with Professor Devadas Rajaram from the Asian College of Journalism in Chennai, India, and colleagues from the Newhouse School For Public Communications, Syracuse University, USA.

        Content: You will learn how to research authentic stories and how to tell them within the framework of mobile communication. Furthermore you will experiment and produce multiple stories by the use of mobile and emerging technologies. Overall you will work with a diverse trainer team and in a diverse, often international class on themes with both a local focus and a global perspective.

          In the spring term 2019 we’ll likely work on a topic related to European culture as well as to Stuttgart and region.

              Exam: Project work individually by each student (up to 5 different story products).
                Open for regular students of all programs and international students.
                  Apply through the electronic election system or email directly Prof Mueller.
                    Compulsory hands-on workshop takes place in one week: 20.-24. May 2019.
                      Preparation prior to the main workshop and production following the main workshop will be self-organised by students and accompanied by a few face-to-face sessions and online coaching.

                        Requirements: - Good working knowledge of English. - Ideally some experience in video/audio production with smartphone and using multimedia tools with smartphone. - Passion and open mind for mobile communication as well as for technology and also for stories. - Willingness to work with mobile and on social media platforms and with your own devices and accounts. - Efficient project management. - Open mind for experiments.

                          English Title: Now Age Storytelling
                          English Abstract: In this class you will learn how to tell authentic multimedia and interactive stories with the use of emerging (cutting-edge) mobile as well as mobile immersive technologies as augmented reality and virtual reality. Participants will individually research, verify and produce multiple stories.
