Die Umsetzung erfolgt in der Spiele-Engine Godot 4.x, spezifische Vorkenntnisse zur Programmierung in Godot sind nicht erforderlich. / The practical parts are implemented in the Godot 4.x game engine; while some programming experience is a prerequisite, experience with the Godot engine specifically is not required.
English Title: Real-time Graphics
English Abstract:

This class covers real-time rendering techniques, focusing an shader programming.

It addresses selected rendering algorithms, both for image-order and object-order rendering and introduces post-processing in mixed-paradigm rendering pipelines. Its practical examples are implemented in a game engine.

In addition to specialized knowledge, participating students will train self-sufficiency in analysing and solving rendering challenges by solving a complex end-of-term problem that will constitute the majority of the cumulative multi-dimensional exam.
